{spring break...part 3}

All us girls were so excited to go see "The Last Song." Michele and I had both read the book and loved it. The movie was soooo good. The boys saw "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and thought is was great. We all pigged out on Chipotle afterwards and then came home and enjoyed the beautiful day.

{spring break...part 2}

while boys were doing their thing, the girls all came to my studio and we had some fun. Brielle was a great little model and Olivia and McKenna wanted to pics together as well. Won't it be so fun for these girls to have these photos when they get older and are roomies in college?

{spring break...part 1}

Spring break started out great with Sabe taking Olivia and Jaxon away to Snowshoe Ski Resort for the weekend. Jaxon snowboarded and Olivia skied while Sabe and brother Regan sat in the lodge and checked out snowbunnies. They had a blast and it was fun for those two to get away with dad for a few days. Iz and I just hung out, mulced 30% of the yard (20 bags only got me that far), and watched New Moon together. Very relaxing. And then I got to do all the laundry from the travelers. Fun.
We were then so graciously honored to have the Lakes comes to our house from NY this week. Of course, our kids were beyond excited and now looking back, i don't think I saw much of Jaxon as he and Cole were either playing bball or video games. They are so cute together and will make 2 hunks of teenagers. Olivia and McKenna---words cannot express how much fun they have together. So much fun and giggling go on with them. Garner and Isabella play really well together. They usually just chase the cat around and Izzy even got Garner to play Barbie.com with her. And Jaden, well, he caught up on the Office episodes and chased Brielle around.

The boys went to the rec center and played hoops while the girls went shopping...

Jaxon made this cute little creation at school today...crunchy noodles with chocolate and M&Ms and Peeps on top.

{big apple circus}

thanks to a great friend, Izzy and I were invited to see the circus today! It was so much fun to see the excitement on Isabella's face. Even though we didn't see any elephants or monkeys like she was hoping for, we saw plenty of men in really tight spandex, so it was totally worth it :)
i'm always amazed when i see performers do such amazing acts as these people in the circus. what kind of life would that be, traveling from place to place, many of them from other countries. i hope they enjoy what they do and are happy people because they sure do entertain us!
