this little girl is seriously one of my all-time faves to photograph. her eyes are just...a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
i got the biggest kick out of her and her refusal to walk across the room. instead, she would walk on her knees-it was hilarious. i love her babble and her scrunchy-faced smile. hattie, please tell your mom to get on an airplane and come stay with us for a week!

okay, so this little guy was way better than Pikes Place, way better than any ocean view. Ashley and Adam are seriously good at breeding some really cute kids. I couldn't wait to meet little Benson. I think Camille described him best as just the most lovable, squishy, sweet baby. And even though I am insanely jealous that she gets to live so close, I am so glad that he gets so loved by such a great auntie.
Its always such a gift to see my sisters become mothers. Ashley is so kind and patient. Their home is peaceful and somewhere that you want to be. I've never seen a father that is so engaged and so helpful as Adam. Those two had to learn so early on how to sacrifice everything when McKay was born with his complications. They continue to do so as their little family is growing
I just loved every minute that I could spend with all of them. I'm already planning another trip :)

{Seattle trip-part 2}

I was definitely looking forward to going to Pike's Place more than anywhere else. It was everything I could have hoped for, and definitely a dream to take photos there. We got on the ferry in the cute town of Bremerton, where Adam & Ashley live, and boarded the ferry for Seattle. It was such a fun ride, with a great view and lots of fun treats...


After the trip to Seattle, Camille treated the sister to an amazing meal at Anthony's, right there on the water. So yummy--thanks, Camilley!
