this is what happens when i get visitors....they get their pictures taken! and little abigail went along with all my crazy "visions" even though it was raining during this session. she is just the sweetest little girl and i'm so lucky to have captured her turning 1!

so it was our turn to go to the pumpkin patch, so we let the kids play hookie and we took the Ekins to Pumpkinville. Let's just say the apple cider was worth the trip....Everyone had a lot of fun and we're thrilled we could spend the day with our Indiana visitors!

Soulographer Workshop

So a few weeks ago, I had the oppurtunity to attend a creative mentoring workshop with one of my favorite photographer's, Skye Hardwick (http://www.workofheartphoto.com/). It was great to meet so many other photographers and come back being so inspired. Olivia and Jaxon were two of the child models who we photographed on the grounds of the US Capitol in DC. They did so great and it was a blast to see them surrounded by the "paparazzi."

so izzy got a stylish new haircut.....but mostly I just wanted to kiss that neck easier. Isn't she a doll? Olivia looked almost exactly like this at her age.
