B-ball

Lots of fun, exciting basketball games this year with Jaxon's team. In the semi-finals, the Jayhawks won in double over-time and then lost by 2 points in the final game, which ended in over-time as well. Jaxon was really lucky to have such a great coach, a friend of ours, who is a great mentor for the kids. He even won "Coach of the Year" in the league. Jaxon was also chosen to play on the All-Star team, so it was a fun year for him and its always great to see how much these boys enjoy each other! vPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Julia's 60th

We celebrated with a delicious dinner at Magnolia's--sans kids---and then went to Jenni & Regan's house for cake and ice cream. We are all so lucky to have Julia in our lives. She is a strong and faithful woman who loves her family. She is a good example in so many ways to all of us. Kings game

While Sabe was out of town, I took the kids to DC to see Jimmer play. We had really crappy seats and the whole time I wished I would have spent more $ on tickets, but it was fun after all. We have seen most of the Kings' games this year and Jaxon and I have had a great time following Jimmer in the NBA! PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Love day

Sabe and I were able to spend a night away the weekend before, so it was fun to dedicate Valentine's Day to the kids. Pretty much a day full of sugar is all you need. We had a fancy dinner of pizza and soda and the kiddos loved decorating cookies. Izzy helped me cut them out and everything was ready when they all got home from school. love, love, love.... New Year's Eve

We had a fun, simple night at the Reston Town Center. We just ate some yummy Mexican & frozen yogurt, window-shopped, and watched the ball dropped. Happy 2012!
