since jaxon just turned 8, he was quickly welcomed into scouts with the pinewood derby! sabe and jaxon didn't even start the car until late the night before since sabe was in denver most of that week. sabe was kinda cussing the whole process and jaxon was just sitting quietly :)
it turned out to be a really fun experience and jaxon's car did great. watch out for next year!

I can just see Sabe and Jax sitting up late at night and the look on Sabes face as he's building the derby. I miss him because of that. That's hilarious. Looks like he had a lot of fun.

And the scouting fun begins...Chris was the cubscout master person in our last ward and I swear some of the parents would intentionally cheat! Others would be pointing the finger, and the rest were arguing with Chris over judgement calls and other petty stuff like which lanes were "faster". Honestly!
