Wasn't Easter like forever ago?  I'm really late in posting these, but I had to do it anyways.  The kids had a great day with all of their cute cousins.  I am still eating candy...

{orange door}

i have driven by this amazing orange door soooo many times, basically every time i go anywhere, i have to pass it. i finally decided to park my butt and get some snapshots of izzy in her cute new skirt from YoirPatty http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5032779

believe it or not...i drove by this same door just yesterday and the door was painted--bye, bye to the orange. i'm so glad that i was able to get it before it was gone. what were they thinking?

jax finally let me take him out for no less than 5 minutes for a few pictures.   i told him about this cool, old abandoned house that i knew he would love.  and sure enought, if it were up to him, he would've walked right in and scoured every room of it.  i just couldn't let him do it because i'm almost sure that many-a-creature has called it hom over the last couple of years.

{abandoned house #2+isabella}

this was the first of the 2 houses we stopped at today. i really wish i had used my new camera, but was running errands all day and didn't want to lug it around everywhere. the quality isn't so great and the sun was high, so there are a lot of harsh shadows.....but, I think I'll definitely be going back and give it another try. this chair was tipped over in the corner of the front room and I got it upright again for a cute shot of my little iz....what a good sport she is!

this cool, old abandoned house is just a few miles away from us, and the thousands of times i have driven by it, i dreamt of mustering up the nerve to pull over and takes some photos of there. i need majoy practice with the new camera and it was a beautiful day out....so i did it!
izzy is holiding "Button-nose", my childhood doll. i can't believe that thing is still in one piece because i probably carried it with my until i was 16. anyways, izzy is quite fond of it and it made great prop along with her new dress from, http://www.shabbyapple.com/
