i had isabella's hair in these cute, little knots today, and when i pulled them out, look what we had. i really think its going to be the new look....

{a little bit of bakin'}

so we are all basically a bunch of semi-hibernating squirrels these days. the kids really want to make some V-day cupcakes for the Superbowl party so we did it in 2 parts-the first night was Red Velvet, the next night was French Vanilla. As you can see, Izzy was the only one that stuck through it to the end. She was pretty smart, though, because that meant more finger dips in the icing. You don't even want to know how many cupcakes I ended up eating!

so there was no way we were going to pass 7 Eleven today without going in and getting izzy a treat.  the tradition is this....sabe gets izzy out of the car, puts her down, opens the door to "heaven" and she goes straight to the freezer!  after choosing her frozen-treat-for-the-day and daddy gets his caffeine fix, they pay and home we go!  today is it was Haagan-Daas (yes, izzy has expensive taste).  she was just so happy, so we had to get some pics.....
