The trip that we wait for all year finally came....and went. I have been such a slacker with blogging. I'm just happy to finally be getting things back to order. Liv and Jax just left for their first day of school, and I forgot how much I get done when I wake up that early and the house is empty!
The first week in UT, we traveled up to Idaho. we found such a great cabin in Island Park, just a few miles away from Grandpa's cabin, that could hold us all. it was beautiful and there was a bedroom for everyone. we had lots of good laughs and ate lots of good food. isn't that what its all about??
i just about froze my hiney off the first night we were there. i was not prepared for the weather to be like that. the days ended up being great, but being on the boat was pretty chilley. sweatshirts & life-jackets. there was no way i was jumping in that water, but it didn't stop the kids from having an absolute blast.
we drove into West Yellowstone the 2nd night to see "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" at the Playmill. It was really cute. The kids all found a fun souvenir after:
Izzy-pink shotgun in pink holster
Liv-toe ring
Jaxon-Rubber band gun
We were really missing Sabe since we were all having so much fun and he was stuck at home working. Lots of phone calls and promises he won't be left behind next year :)
PLAYMILL:
ON OUR WAY TO THE SOUVENIR SHOP!
THE COOL CABIN:
This is how Heather & Ryan announced the sex of their baby---only later to find out that they are actually having a boy!!
HANGING OUT AT GPA's CABIN:
who cares about the scenery outside when they are all these adorable kids inside??
this is who I have to fight Benny for....
and this one is a winner: the girls being themselves with boat-hair
THE LAKE:
since Grandpa Doug has gotten all of his kids out of the house, he decided to buy a boat :)
GO Jaxon on the wakeboard!!!
look at these 2 lovebirds:
i love how Brielle is looking at Cohen like, "dude, what is your problem. just deal with the hat!"
LAST NIGHT:
and yes, Jaxon is about to lose his shorts!

Jennifer, So fun to see your pictures. I can't believe that all of our plans for this summer are now memories!!! What a wonderful time being with all of you children and your kids! We need to decide what we want to do next summer!
Thrilling to see your entire family at the cabin. That cabin has been such a great spot over the years to be with cousins, Grandpa and Grandma and loved ones. You did such a wonderful job capturing the memories and I know your mother and dad will cherish these photos.
This is another place that we didn't get to go to this summer. So many memories through the years of watching all of you who are now moms and dads with your little ones!
Wish we were still there right now! I love your comments, they make me laugh.
