We weren't going to waste any time the day we had to leave Cali, so we woke up early to walk down to Crystal Cove and let Izzy blow a candle, make a wish, and wiggle her toes in the sand once more.
We love this little girl more than words could ever express. She is such a sweet, loving little girl. Can't believe she is 8!
Jaxon and Izzy get each other parmesan cheese every year for each other's birthday--one of their most favorite foods!
Yes, take a step back in time with a visit to the newly restored
Crystal Cove Beach Cottages in the Crystal Cove State Park Historic
District.
Whether in an Individual or Dorm-Style Cottage, Crystal Cove Beach Cottages offer gorgeous ocean views, charming historic details, and a glimpse of a uniquely Southern Californian beach colony from a bygone era.
Located in the heart of Crystal Cove State Park’s 3.5 miles of
pristine coastline, the Historic District first developed as a South
Seas movie set due to its seclusion and tropical aura. The community
thrived and became beloved for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and
picturesque landscape; and in 1979, the Crystal Cove State Park Historic
District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Built
as a seaside colony in the 1930’s & ‘40’s, Crystal Cove endures as a
magical escape for visitors who appreciate the opportunity to
experience California’s natural and architectural beauty, untouched by
time.
