{J-J is 11!}

11 years ago, this little peanut of a baby was placed in my arms-all 5 1/2 pounds of the cutest little baby boy you have ever seen.  I still remember seeing his sweet face.  I, of course, instantly fell in love and have loved Jaxon more than I can explain since that first day.
He is kind & loving, patient & thoughtful, ticklish & smiley.  He is a big brother and a little brother, he has made his dad proud and he is wrapped around this mom's finger.  He loves his friends and his friends love him.  He is a natural on a skateboard, he has an awesome jump shot, and he can throw the football just like his dad.  He is sensitive and smart and we know that Jaxon has an awesome future ahead of him.

All Jaxon wanted for his birthday was a new iPod touch.  He thought it was really unfair that his birthday was on a school day, but we still had some decorations, a dinner date, and an ice cream cake.  Izzy really wanted to surprise him with a wedge of parmesan (a must-have in our house!).  We went to one of Jaxon's favorite restaurants--Main Street Wings and then we rushed to his first basketball practice.  I think he had a great day!
